Thanks to Express Web Connect, you can download and access your bank transactions without having to register every time on the banking portal. However, your options are limited here as the method does not allow you to pay or pay bills directly from Quicken.
If your bank has interrupted Express Web Connect, don’t worry. Your bank may have started supporting some other mode of connectivity such as Direct Connect or Web Connect. Step- 2 Switch connection from express web connect to direct connect
- Open the tools and click on the Add Account option.
- Choose your account type from the given options.
- Click the Advanced Configuration option at the bottom of the screen.
- Enter your bank name and click Next.
- Select Direct Connect as the connection method.
- Tap Next and continue to follow the instructions on your screen until the setup is complete.
To ensure that the connection is successfully established, follow the steps below:
- Click Tools then on the list of accounts.
- Select Edit next to the account you have set up.
- Go to the Online Services tab and confirm that your connection method is Direct Connect.
Step-3 Re-activate your account with Direct Connect
- Under Tools, select Account List.
- Select Edit for the account you want to reactivate.
- Click Online Services, then click the Configure option.
- Enter your bank details and check this Save password option.
- Tap Connect to complete the setup.
Once you reactivate your account, try a one-step update to see if the error has not been recovered.
- Go to the tool and choose a one-step update.
- Select the bank you want to update and enter your password.
- Now tap on update.
